# Router settings

Our router lets you flexibly configure settings for your swaps. By pressing a gear button on [Swap](https://dedust.io/swap) page, you can customize:

* The maximum number of routes in one swap
* The maximum number of steps (also called "hops") within each route
* Avoiding low-liquidity pools
* Enabling the avoidance of highly volatile pools
* Setting a minimum savings threshold
* Choosing whether to include third-party protocols' liquidity
