🏗️Create new pool
To trade a pair that has no pool yet, you need to create one. It takes two steps: creating the pool, then depositing the initial liquidity.
Step 1. Create the pool
On the Pools page, press Create pool.
Choose the two tokens to pair. If one of them isn't whitelisted, import it first.
Select the trading fee tier and the token (or both) in which your earnings will be collected.
Press Create and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Once the transaction goes through — usually a minute or two — you'll proceed to the deposit step automatically.
You can create several CPMM v2 pools for the same pair, as long as their configurations differ.
Step 2. Deposit the initial liquidity
Unlike depositing into an existing pool, here you enter amounts for both sides. The proportion you enter sets the pool's initial exchange rate.
What happens next depends on whether a market rate for the pair already exists.
If the pair is already traded elsewhere. Type in one amount and DeDust fills in the other automatically, based on the current market rate. This is the Lock rate toggle, on by default. Keep it on unless you have a reason not to — a rate that differs from the market invites arbitrage bots the moment the pool goes live.
If the token is brand new, with no pools and no market rate, there's nothing to calculate from: enter both amounts yourself. The proportion becomes the starting price.
To set your own rate deliberately, switch Lock rate off and type both amounts manually.
Check the rate before confirming. If pools with your token already exist anywhere — including other DEXs — they will pull your pool's price toward theirs. A rate set too far from the market can shift instantly and cost you funds.
Adjust slippage if needed, then press Deposit. At this step you can also permanently lock your liquidity.
Review the details, press Confirm and sign in your wallet.
If a token has no estimated fiat ($) price in the interface, make it tradable: deposit at least $50 of liquidity in GRAM or USDT.
When the transaction completes, open your pool's summary page and go to My position to see your tokens and your share.
